First Commonwealth Bank named as one of Forbes 2021 World’s Best Banks for Third Consecutive Year
Indiana, PA (April 15) – First Commonwealth Bank has been recognized for the third consecutive year by Forbes as one of the World’s Best Banks for 2021. First Commonwealth is one of 75 banks from the United States receiving this distinction and joining a total of 500 banks, from 28 countries, around the world.
In collaboration with analytics firm Statista, Forbes selected the World’s Best Banks 2021 winners based on an independent survey of more than 43,000 global bank customers. The surveys were administered using a series of online access panels and sampled bank customers. Participants rated the banks utilizing the following criteria: Customer Services, Digital Services, Financial Advice, Terms & Conditions and Trust.
“This year’s recognition may be the most significant of the three,” offered First Commonwealth Financial Corporation CEO, Mike Price. “In the past 13 months of the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing economic challenges, banks have been called upon to help keep our economy going. From implementing payment relief to our customers, funding nearly 5,000 PPP loans, and unveiling a new digital banking platform for our personal banking and business customers, this distinction is a testament to the hard work of our employees especially in response to unanticipated circumstances” Price added.
The complete list of banks is available on Forbes’ website, http://www.forbes.com/.
